Minus the not-so-Paleo Acai berry beverage with lunch, today was a strong day. I was even able to overcome the biggest temptation I’ve faced so far. I passed on dessert at The Cheesecake Factory. It was easy for forgo the dinner options and replace it with a healthy salad with unglazed pecans, fresh cranberries, grilled chicken and avocado, but passing up a thick slice of cheesecake? Unheard of in my world. Or it used to be! I’ve got to say my friends were pretty impressed by my turning down the bread before the meal. Or confused. But either way, it got them asking questions and gave me the chance to talk about my decision.
